1. Open System Preferences, go to the Security pane, and
select the Require Password to Wake This Computer From Sleep or Screen
Saver option.
2. A simple way to protect your files and log off when you walk away from your
computer is to hit Shift-Command-Option-Q to do a fast logout of your
user. |
The easiest way to lock Windows XP is by simply pressing the Windows
logo key and the letter L (for Lock) on a Microsoft Natural Keyboard or
any other compatible keyboard that includes the Window key. Doing so
will pop up the Unlock Computer Password box. |
