Windows & Apple Screen Lock

Apple Workstation Windows XP Workstation
1. Open System Preferences, go to the Security pane, and select the Require Password to Wake This Computer From Sleep or Screen Saver option.

2. A simple way to protect your files and log off when you walk away from your computer is to hit Shift-Command-Option-Q to do a fast logout of your user.
The easiest way to lock Windows XP is by simply pressing the Windows logo key and the letter L (for Lock) on a Microsoft Natural Keyboard or any other compatible keyboard that includes the Window key. Doing so will pop up the Unlock Computer Password box.
